Marianne has over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry in Portland, OR. She founded Action Employment in 1999. She started in direct hire placement, and still uses those skills to train her staff in the craft of placing candidates for the long term - whether it is a temporary, temp-to-hire or direct hire position. |
Angela Ackerman, Account Manager
Angela Ackerman knows Action Employment Services, Inc. from both sides!! She has been placed by Action in temporary and direct hire positions. Angela comes to us with a wide range of backgrounds from being a Regional Account Manager with Axium Software, to Robinson Construction where she was a Project Assistant. She has excellent attention to detail as well as intuitive skills, making her able to fill your positions quickly and ensuring they are good, long term matches.

Tim Butler, Business Development Manager
Tim was referred to us by several of our clients. He wanted to make a career change from Insurance to Recruiting/Staffing. Tim is very approachable, and able to explain highly complex topics in a fun, light and understandable way. He is very motivated and open to learning about new industries, getting to know business and listen to how he can help fill positions. He grew up in Portland with a degree from Linfield College.

Katie comes to us with recruiting expertise from NIKE. She has high energy and is able to interview and source a large volume of candidates. Katie strives to learn about not just what her candidates can do, but what they want to do. She uses this information to make the best long term matches possible. She is a graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources.
